Prayer Room

Worship and prayer is at the heart of all we do. Worship musicians and intercessors come together in God’s presence to declare and proclaim who He is and to bring our intercession before Him. More information

In worship we stand, serve, minister and burn before the Lord as we seek to know his heart and be transformed into his image. In intercession we cry out for his will to be done and his promises to come to pass. ChiHop

About Us

R-HoP began in 2003 as a result of four churches in the town getting together for prayer events. The churches were St Matthew’s, a lively Anglican church, Christian Life Centre, affiliated to the Assemblies of God, and two independent charismatic fellowships, Rugby Fellowship Church and Grapevine Christian Fellowship. We’ve had many prophetic words over the House of Prayer and we continue to pray for God to move through the nations.

What’s On

R-HoP has various prayer sessions throughout the week. We have times of intercession, crying out to God for justice and times of creative and devotional worship.

The prayer room is open Tuesday and Friday evenings. These sessions are open to everyone and you are welcome to come and join us. The worship team meet other days too but these vary so if you want to know other worship times please contact us.

Prayer Watches

We pray using the Harp and Bowl model of intercession. The harp speaks of God’s music & worship songs, the bowl speaks of intercession – God’s songs and God’s prayers flowing together. (Revelation 5:8)

We pray for our town, the nations, Israel, the Persecuted Church, human trafficking and much more. Please feel free to come and join us. We meet for intercession Tuesday evenings 7:30pm – 9pm.

Shalom means peace! This is a time to come and rest in God’s presence. There is no set agenda, it is a time where we allow God to lead us in worship and prayer. Shalom meetings are Friday evenings 7pm-8pm.

These devotional times are led by one of the worship team. It is a time to come and soak in the presence of Gos in an atmosphere of worship. The times of these devotionals vary so please contact us to check.

Praying for Israel

Called to Pray

We believe there is a calling and a duty on the Church to connect with and pray for Israel. We are commanded to pray for the “Peace of Jerusalem” (Psalm 122)

Our role in the House of Prayer is to pray for Israel, the Messianic Jewish Believers living in Israel and the nations and the Houses of Prayer throughout Israel.

We also believe that there will be an outpouring of the Spirit in Israel before Jesus returns.

Why Pray for Israel

  • We want to love what God loves and God loves Israel…Jeremiah 31:1-3,
  • God has not finished with Israel…Romans 11:2, Isaiah 44:21
  • God calls us to have mercy on Israel…Romans 11:31
  • If we want to be blessed then we must bless Israel…Genesis 12
  • We are told repeatedly to pray for Israel…Romans 10:1, Psalm 122

Prayer Times

Due to COVID restrictions we are closed until further notice.
