Harp & Bowl Intercession
In Rev 5:8 the elders & the four living creatures came to Jesus with two things, harp and bowl. The harp speaks of God’s music & worship songs, the bowl speaks of intercession – God’s songs and God’s prayers flowing together.
When the music (harp) & the intercession (bowl) come together then a spiritual dynamic occurs.
God ordained that the worship music around the throne flows with intercession from the saints
Once a month we pray for justice on behalf of those caught up in human trafficking, unborn children under threat of abortion and the persecuted church.
We believe God is the One who makes the wrong things right. As we have prayed for justice we have seen God move in the most miraculous ways and we give Him all our thanks. As our praise and worship is joined with intercession that presents the needs of others before the throne, great spiritual benefits are released on earth.
Shalom meets Friday evening 7pm-8pm. This is a time of rest and prayer through worship.
“And when he had taken the scroll, the four living creatures and the twenty-four elders fell down before the Lamb, each holding a harp, and golden bowls full of incense, which are the prayers of the saints.”
